Solid Rock After School Program is held each semester of the school year and it is 10 weeks long, run by Norwood United Methodist Church in conjunction with CEF - Child Evangelism Fellowship.

The goal of the program is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our community.  

   

      The sessions are fun for the children and age appropriate.  CEF presents the message of Jesus Christ with interesting stories, songs, games, and Bible messages/verses.  There is snack time, play time, homework help as time allows, and there wil be several special activities over the course of 10 weeks.

 

     The rate is reasonable - just $40.00 for the entire 10 week program.  Money is due at the time of registration.  For families with more than one child participating, it is half-price ($20.00) for siblings.  The rate is prorated for registration after the first sessiion.

 

     We currently meet in the Discovery Room of the church, which provides a roomy area for all the children to participate.  Air conditioning and heating make the room comfortable for all seasons.
